Counselling is a space to understand yourself better (why you feel the way you feel, why certain patterns keep showing up, and what gets in the way of things feeling different). It's a collaborative process where we work through things together at your pace. Most people find that just having a space to slow down and actually look at things is different from anything they've tried before.

The consult is free and a good way to ask questions and see if it feels like the right fit before committing to a session. That said, if you already feel ready to get started, you're welcome to book a session directly.

That's more common than you'd think. Every therapist works differently and uses different approaches. Finding the right fit takes time and it doesn't mean therapy itself doesn't work for you. The consult is a good place to ask questions about how I work and see if it feels like the right match.

Yes, everything you share is confidential. There are a small number of legal and ethical exceptions to this, which I'm happy to walk you through during our consult or first session.

Frequency depends on 1) your goals and 2) where your nervous system is at. Generally, more frequent sessions are helpful when things feel more dysregulated; consistency creates momentum. That said, capacity matters. If certain days or a specific frequency works better for your life, we adjust accordingly.
Regularity looks different for everyone; for some people, that means weekly, for others, it's monthly. We figure that out together.

At this time, I don’t offer direct billing. However, many extended health plans cover registered clinical counselling services. I recommend checking with your provider beforehand to confirm your coverage. After each session, you'll receive a receipt that you can submit directly to your plan for reimbursement.
Payment can be made via e-Transfer or credit card.
